It seems that every great leader has his nemesis.  Clinton had his Kenneth Starr.  Nixon had his Archibald Cox.  And now Paige Patterson has his bloggers.  The legacies of these men would have been pristine if not for those trifling investigations.

We really hope Paige Patterson has his day on the witness stand, and we think Southern Baptists can handle the truth.  But we’d suggest that Patterson not take the course of Colonel Nathan Jessup, or adopt his downright potty mouth…
