Tuesday Tea Time: Episode 7

In our seventh episode of “Tea Time” we learn more about what it’s like to be terminated by The Criswell College, the “horrific” experiences at Southeastern Seminary, the “harassment” from Fort Worth, and broken promises about retirement.

So break out your favorite loose leaf tea, put on the kettle, and get out the Royal Doulton tea cups with hand-painted periwinkles and enjoy today’s chat.

  1. Who paid for their extensive overseas travel? Was it cooperative program funds? I certainly think it is commendable for Christians to do missions overseas but I struggle with how extensive overseas missions relates to their work as president and president’s wife at SEBTS & SWBTS.

  2. “Not worthy of our time and investment”…that quote alone shows that the hearts of Dottie and Paige Patterson not the same as the heart of Jesus Christ. He “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” Phil.2:6-8
She sounds unbelievably selfish, arrogant, and certainly unworthy of being considered one who “loves without thought of return” as Jesus taught His followers to do.
Has she not read 1 Corinthians 13?
God help all Baptists if this is the attitude taught in these seminaries.
