Positive and amazing. Danny is an executive pastor and not a Pattersonite. This is great news!
We prefer the term “Patterphile,” which has been coined by some SWBTS faculty and staff. And yes, Danny Roberts is a good choice for the committee chairman.

Also, when I saw the trumpet player for the special music I was hoping he would play the The Godfather Waltz.
We will be in prayer continually for each if these people. The Lord God has His plan for SWBTS. He knows exactly which person that He has chosen for this role. Our prayer is that each member of the committee will be wholly focused on seeking and hearing only God’s Spirit Voice and Will . We will pray that NO OTHER agenda or voice will play any part or be heard in this search. God alone knows the future and needs of His church and will guide the decision.
Praying for wisdom and discernment for this committee. Critical time.
